The conversion of mathematical languages plays an important role in math-concept study and problem-solving process. The questions about the mathematical language conversion appear much more frequently in the college entrance examination in recent years, as a result,the study of the mathematical language especially the study of the conversion attracts much attention of teachers and researchers. But in practical teaching and learning ,not only the learning is far from enough but there is no effective teaching and ,earning methods that are in accordance with the student ' actual situation.This paper aims to examine the ability that the students have in converting the mathematical language in the process of learning new knowledge and solving problems. According to the survey results,this paper summarizes the specific obstacles that the student have in converting language:students have some trouble in understanding verbal language,symbolic language and graphic language ,students' insufficient master for the equivalent form or the representation of the mathematical language,teacher's less rigorous teaching language affects the cultivation of students' mathematical language,teacher's lack of attachment for guiding the students to combine various mathematical languages together and so on. Finally,this paper proposes some corresponding countermeasures: converting the teaching concept of teachers , regulating the teaching language of teachers ,strengthening the variation type of teaching in mathematical language.
