The Study Of Students' Performance In Math Class Activities Under The Background Of The New Curriculum

Under the background of the new curriculum, reform of learning methods is required and more efficient student activities are need in math class so as to improve the students'ability to solving math problems and provide student a sound basis of math knowledge.In this thesis, based on survey, documentary analysis and case study, the author find that student-oriented activities are insufficient in the present classes. Though more and more teachers have taken the new theory, students activities in math class are still not satisfactory because the frontline teachers lack the support of methodology. In order to chang the present situation, the author tries to conduct research from four aspects through case study to provide teachers with examples and help them to sovle realistic problem in carrying out class activities.There are five parts in this thesis. In the first part, questions and research aims are raised according the real cases. In this part, research related to student activities is illustrated. Theoretical Basis will be introduced in the second part and analysis will be made through questionnaires in the third part. In the third part, the author calls on teachers to return the class to the students. In the fourth part, the author discusses the difficult points that should be paid attention to in creating situations, conducting research and cooperating and exchange with each other. The last part is the conclusion and reflection of this study.As a performance study, this thesis mainly focus on the relative problems arising from practice. Surely many problems that are worth studying are not involved in this thesis. Therefore the author aims to call on more experts and teacher to carry out further study on student activities and provide valuable advice for the curriculum reform.
