Higher education has a close relationship with social and economic development, both of them influence each other and restraint each other. Higher education must adapt itself to social and economic development, only like this, it will serve as a catalyst for social and economic development; otherwise it will impede social and economic development. This thesis takes the relationship of Harbin-Daqing-Qiqihar regional undergraduate universities and industrial corridor construction as research object, and takes higher education function theory, higher education and regional economy interaction theory, and triple helix theory as the theoretical basis. Through combining theory with practice, this thesis analyzes the current situation of Harbin-Daqing-Qiqihar regional undergraduate universities and Harbin-Daqing-Qiqihar industrial corridor construction at the present stage. Through in-depth research, this study discovers that regional industry-university-institute cooperation in Harbin-Daqing-Qiqihar needs to strengthen, undergraduate universities need to adjust the structure of academic disciplines, the technological contribution of subordinate universities is low, the comprehensive strength and technology service ability of local universities is not powerful, characteristic disciplines of industry colleges have been losing advantages in the process of running and managing, and further analyzes reasons of contributing to above problems. At last, this thesis presents concrete proposals include strengthening the government macro management to promote industry-university-institute cooperation, adjusting the structure of academic disciplines according to regional industrial structure change, improving subordinate universities' technological contribution, adopting scientific positioning to improve comprehensive strength of local universities, insisting on school running characteristics to advance the strength of advantage disciplines in industry colleges, raising higher education funding through multiple channels and etc., to promote the coordinated development between Harbin-Daqing-Qiqihar regional undergraduate universities and industrial corridor construction in interactive process.
