In the Standard of English Course for Junior High School, it acquires that students can use suitable reading strategies according to the reading materials. Also in the text book there are 8 reading strategies for students to learn.This article tries to invest the reading strategies teaching in Junior high school and how students use the reading strategies during English reading. It will help teachers teach better during reading teaching. It will help students learn to use reading strategies well during reading.This article has been divided into five parts: the first part is Preface; The second part shows the essence of reading and strategies, analyze the best reading strategies, defines the definition of reading and the process, theoretical basis basic theory and the essence which discusses junior English reading teaching from the reality; The third part mainly aimed at object junior high students, is divided into two parts, the first part is the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the questionnaire, the second lists the actual results, and discusses them. The fourth part discusses the results of the questionnaire. Finally, the paper analyzes the main findings of this study and the accomplishments. The results show that the training of reading may take students a value of time, but the result was obvious to all, the training not only enables students to get a good grasp of the language, but also lets students make a good progress on thinking, which leave a good foreshadowing for future teaching.
