Following the improvement of rural economy in our country, the problems of rural education have appeared eminently. It is still a general phenomenon of low quality of rural education, rural teacher, and that rural children go to urban schools. How to change the situation of rural education? The key is to improve the teaching level of rural school. And to train a batch of qualified rural teachers and realize the professionalization of rural teachers are the important points of improving school level.At the end of last century, Chinese language education met"the end of century embarrassment", and big discussion had been held about Chinese language education in our country. More than ten years have passed; the achievement of Chinese education is remarkable. However, the rural Chinese education in remote area is still not entirely satisfactory. The prime cause of low quality of teaching is the developmental lag of rural Chinese teachers and low degree of professionalization. So, this paper is to discover the problems of rural middle school Chinese teachers in professional development, to find the causes and put forward the effective strategy to promote the professional development of rural Chinese teachers by the investigation and interview of rural middle school Chinese teachers in Taonan city, Jinlin province. There are four parts in this paper as follows:Part one: Introduction. This part introduces the investigative problems and research background, and summarizes the significance of the research.Part two: Connotation and standards of Chinese teachers'professionalization. This part will explicit the connotation and standards of Chinese teachers professionalization via carding its relevant informationPart three: Investigation and analysis of the professional development problems of rural middle school Chinese teachers in Taonan city. This part introduces the basic situation of Taonan city and rural middle school Chinese teachers; and analyzes the investigation result of rural middle school Chinese teacher in Taonan city to find the matter and point the improving objective.Part four: Effective strategy of promoting the development of rural middle school Chinese teachers'professionalization. Aiming at the appeared problems, this part is to point out the effective strategy of promoting the development of rural middle school Chinese teachers'professionalization practically. And during all the strategies, the strategies of"the state and local government should provide books for rural school free of charge"and"Sending rural Chinese teachers to take further study in urban key school', which broadens the developmental way of rural middle school Chinese teachers'professionalization.
