Recently, with the development of the information age, information technology is widely used in the Senior English classroom teaching at school. In fact, the application of information technology makes it possible to improve the quality and efficiency of teaching, and it also provides good conditions for teaching. However, they are only possibility and conditions, the basic. If we want to change the conditions and possibility into reality, we should solve the problem how to apply information technology to the Senior English classroom teaching.Turning the integration of information technology and English classroom teaching into reality is currently an important issue which is worthy of attention and discussion. As a matter of fact, the appearance and development of information technology inevitably impact the traditional theories and models of teaching, which led to teaching the theory of "metabolism" phenomenon, so some of the traditional challenges of teaching theories and models, and new teaching theories and models have emerged. The new teaching theories and models have an important feature:it is the emphasis on the integration of information technology and English classroom teaching.Why we put forward the subject is primarily because of the reflection on the problems existing in the current use of information technology in English classroom teaching. Such as information technology is seen as merely a tool and means, or blindly abused, or simply used, or for the use and application of information technology and English classroom teaching so as to the integration of information technology and English classroom teaching is always in a "mismatch" situation. Sometimes the use of information technology and English classroom teaching are not organically combined, not making information technology become an integral part of English classroom teaching. Meanwhile, most of us don't have the awareness of examining the issue from a theoretical point of teaching.In this paper, the author just wants to explore some effective means and methods to promote the effectiveness of the integration of information technology and English classroom teaching. This is mainly by the study of the integration of information technology and English classroom teaching. Also, the author wants to find the promotion of effective teaching of English teacher and students'effective learning method.
