The integration of the information technology and English curriculum is a hot spot. There are a lot of problems in the integration of information technology and middle school English teaching. The main is as follows:The blindness of the integration of information technology and English teaching; the lack of systematic integration of information technology and English teaching; no full exploitation of the information technology advantages. And to develop the students reading abilities is one of the tasks in English reading. We are studying the model and case study of the effective integration of information technology and English reading teaching in Junior high School, focusing on the Junior High School students’ self-learning and improving the English teaching quality and efficiency.In this paper, the main content includes the follows:1. First of all, analyzed information technology and curriculum integration, especially the information technology and scientific experiment status quos at home and abroad;2. Then explored the theoretical foundation of information technology and English teaching integration from three areas of integration of theory, learning theory and the subject ontology. Defined and explained the basic concepts in detail;3. Based on the integration theories, systematically analyzed the instruction modes and basic integration methods of English teaching, presented the basic considered elements and design principles, strategies and methods of expository essay reading at the ideal instruction state;4. Based on the systematic study of ideal instructional design proposed the basic ideas, principles, solutions and methods of the integration points diagnosis;5. Based on the analysis of the necessary of building the recourses of the English reading teaching, this article brought forward to build the recourses of the English reading teaching.6. According to information technology and curriculum integration, present a teaching plan and analyze its validity of integration. |
