After the new curriculum reform, many teachers are still using the traditional lecture-style teaching method to handle almost all teaching materials in the teaching process. This method can be a good teaching method in teaching students systematical physical knowledge, but it is not conducive to the cultivation of students' three-dimensional targets, thus fails to accomplish the new curriculum goals. One of the reasons to this failure is the teachers' skilled using of the traditional lecture-style teaching method in the teaching process instead of other teaching methods such as the heuristic approach, situational approach, repeated teaching, inquiry-based teaching methods and so on. Furthermore, some teachers do not know how to achieve better teaching results by using appropriate teaching methods in different teaching materials, so they tend to use some teaching methods familiar to them to deal with most of the teaching materials.For an in-depth understanding of the new curriculum reform and the new materials under the new curriculum; in order that high school physics teachers make better use of the new materials and appropriate teaching methods in their teaching under the new curriculum concepts; to implement the new curriculum teaching objectives; for a real implementation of the new curriculum, this thesis tries to analyze the high school physics textbook, classify the contents of the textbook based on its characteristics and explore a teaching method adapted to each type of the physical knowledge. This thesis analyses the content of Shanghai version of the high school physics textbook, summarizes certain physical knowledge which has common features based on a large amount of literature studies. For example, classifying physical knowledge into four categories:(1) knowledge of physics; (2) physical knowledge closely related to the students' practices; (3) updated knowledge of physical science and technology; (4) physical knowledge concerning physical thoughts and methods. And analyzing the teaching values of the various physical knowledge mentioned above, and some existing problems in the teaching of physics. This thesis also analyses the characteristics and accessibilities of the methods of presentation, exploration, discussion, context and so on. Based on the preceding analysis, this thesis explores various methods in each category of physical knowledge by combining the studies of teaching experiments and according to certain teaching principles of psychology.Hope that this study provides valuable references to the implementation of the new curriculum reform and teachers' teaching practices.
