From the invention of the films in the nineteenth century to the popularity of the television in the 20th century, film and television culture and its high degree of model-oriented features, had a subtle impact on the audience's ideas, lifestyles and their values, which quickly guide the public culture. Contemporary high school students are the growing up generation who is accompanied by the rapid development of television, but also the generation most affected by the film. The teaching of films and television works in the secondary school is beneficial to the healthy growth of individual students and the development of their lifelong education, but improving the quality of the whole nation. So it is very meaningful. Due to the close relationship between the Literature and film culture, Chinese as a subject in secondary school should keep the pace with the development of social and lingual changes, react to the new media environment positively, explore the rules of the teaching, and improve the students' quality.This paper is based on the background of the education of the film in the secondary school. From the perspective of media, the writer makes a preliminary discussion and put forward some superficial view on the film and television works in the secondary school's Chinese teaching. With help of the thesis, I hope that people can pay much attention to the importance of the teaching of film and television works in China.This paper is divided into four parts:PartⅠ:From the analysis of the status of film and television works in secondary schools to start the thesis. Through stating and describing the properties of the film and television works, as well as the analysis of the relationship between the teaching of the film works and Chinese teaching, I want to demonstrate that the teaching should be based on television programs and movies as the main medium of education.PartⅡ:Works of film and television school should be one of the purposes of teaching students media literacy. This part of the paper first discusses the concept of film and television media and the basic characteristics of film and television media, and then discusses the impact of film and television media for high school students, high school students should have the final discussion of the three media literacy.PartⅢ:The secondary school teaching should focus on film and television work is to train high school students thinking of the right values. This part of the first feature from young people to start analyzing the values of the expectations of students on the video horizon, and then explores the work of young film both positive and negative values ??of the impact, and finally explore the impact of film and television work for young people with progressive values, non-systematic, entertaining features.PartⅣ:Teaching practice from film and television work made three recommendations:First, we must make full use of video information; second is to contend rational analysis works, and strengthen critical awareness; third is to expand the video curriculum.
