Community is a basic unit of modern state. Social security is the "safety net" and "pressure-relief valve" of a state. Community security, which is the combination of the two, concerns national stability and unity, social harmony and development of the people's lives, and is called "the last safety net". Community social-security workers burden the implementation of the policies and measures of the country and government, guarantee the living quality of residents. It is an essential part of building a large-scaled, high-quality, reasonable-structured working team for the future security development to know the present job satisfaction situation of security workers in order to find problems and timely solution.Job satisfaction is an important research in psychological, management and organizational behavior. Now, the general sense of satisfaction refers to someone's good sense of satisfaction in organization or work, and related work itself. The influencing factors are the external social factors, the more important factors are is the various factors of work. With the research and development of the theory, it is now has useful application in education, enterprises, medicine and psychology field. Later, it is used in specific job sectors.This paper takes 196 specialized security workers in five communities as examples and makes investigation from the eight dimensions of salary and bonus, training, management and promotion, work itself, working contents, social contacts, working stability by means of questionnaire and individual interview and books reference to research and analyze the effect of social-security worker's job satisfaction on the overall situation, further analyze the effect of individual factors, such as age, sex, education and source on social-security workers'job satisfaction. The writer finds that salary and bonus, training, management and promotion, age, education and source have some serious influence on job satisfaction, even affecting the working attitude, activeness and performance.According to the problems, the solutions exist in the government and society level, the community level, and social security workers themselves.
