In recent years, some group events occurred in China's minority areas driven by several extreme national separatisms with ulterior motives that shocked the world, which caused us to think about it. Urumqi5July Incident occurred in2009, took significant damage, and seriously hurt the national emotions. The focus of the event contradictions is a Floating population, thus research for the group benefits for leaps and bounds development and long-term stability, national unity and common prosperity, and promotes the process of urbanization in Xinjiang. Through empirical investigation in the city of Urumqi, The topics analyzed the multi-dimensional social exclusion of Uighur floating population.It can provide a case of the floating population of a minority social exclusion and integration in the academic, and contribute to the overall mobile population study in China's urbanization process.This essay uses a combination of questionnaires and interviews to obtain survey data. The survey were carried out into two times, August2010and June to August2011. The survey took the Uighurfloating population as a researcherobject, which came from six communities in Urumqi. In six communities, a total of261questionnaires,255valid questionnaires, including243Uyghur which compose all of the samples. According to the situation of Xinjiang, the survey took the purposive sampling instead of probability sampling as the sampling method, which was carried with community workers'guiding, for the purpose of comprehensive and representative. Interviews conducted mainly in Saimachang community and YashanCommunity, each community has conducted10depth interviews, a total of20. From the family situation, income, occupational attainment, cultural identity, community identity and other aspects, the statistical analysis given class variables and the ordinal variable frequency, percentage indicators, analysis of variance and correlation between the identification of different variables.The urban life of Uighur floating population presents us with is a non-immersive community life. Although they live in the broad urban communities in the geographical, but the cultural identity and cultural consumption have not reached the degree of urban residents because of their low income and lack of social networks. They lack the interest in political participation, because it has little to do with their own interests. The Uighur floating population and urban residents formed a more obvious distinctionin the urban space, which is difficult to carry out effective social interaction.Although they have strong initiative will, but Infrastructure and social security of Uighur floating population is so weak that they are not equal to urban dwellers to havethe basic livelihood guarantee. Uighur floating population Subject to the exclusion of the five dimensions as Economic, institutional, cultural, spatial and social networks.Finally, some suggestions are given as researchers and other social entities.
