Along with the reform of the curriculum innovation, the modern educationaltechnology plays an increasing important position in the teaching reform. Teachingthoughts, teaching methods, teaching contents and other aspects have undergoneprofound changes. Information literacy as a basic literacy, which meets the need ofinformation age and it is very important, the cultivation of talent has a great value inhigher education. Cultivating students' information literacy is not only the future goal ofhigher education but also is the only way which must be passed to conform thedevelopment of our world. Although the information literacy education of China foruniversity students has been drew more and more attention, information literacyeducation is still fall behind, besides, there is still a big distance between the advancedforeign countries' information literacy Education and our country. As the basiceducational physics teachers, we must have a science student's rigorous logical thinking,rigorous scientific attitude, a liberal arts life rich and delicate feelings withoutexaggerated mentality, for this special group of information literacy research has a veryfar-reaching significance, therefore, this paper is written to analyze the existingproblems of college students in physics major in information literacy education.Thesis is mainly reflected in physical normal university students' informationliteracy of the status of the investigation. Before the survey, there is an overview of a lotof theoretical work, which lay a theoretical foundation for the survey. First, introducesthe concepts and evolutions of domestic and foreign information literacy, and explainsthe physics major students' information literacy. Then on the research an overview ofthe domestic and foreign information literacy evaluation standard and on the basis oftheoretical research, referencing from the domestic and foreign information literacyevaluation index system, constructing normal university physics students' informationliteracy evaluation index system. On the base of the constructed evaluation system, theobjects of research were investigated, through the SPSS software analysis to caseinvestigation and combined with the actual situation to draw the relevant influencefactors. Research status shows, Physics of normal university students' information consciousness and information morality get a much higher level, but informationknowledge, information teaching ability and information skills these three aspectsabilities show a little weaker. At last the paper aims at the physics of normal universitystudents' training strategies.
