Since1978,with the development of reform an openness and the market-oriented economy, thedualistic social structure with the household registration system as the core became avianize, and theprocess of urbanization became quicker. The population movements influenced by these factors,especially Rural-Urban flowing became active and the quantity continued to rise. In the increasinglylarge floating population, Rural-Urban migration of young people has become an important part of thisgroup. Their feature is between epochal character and marginality.Therefore, firstly, the author places the Rural-Urban migration of young people in social background of the urbanization process, finding that there is a same trend between urbanization level and thenumber of Rural-Urban migration of young people. As urbanization level improved, more and morerural young people flow into cities. Secondly, dividing the macro causes of Rural-Urban migration ofyoung people into four aspects: the urban economic development, urban-rural differences in resources,income disparities and national policy changes. Using survey data to divide the motives of migrationinto four parts:economic motives, lifestyle preferences motivation, social status, changes in motivationand interpersonal motivation. In addition, the author sums up the new features: epochal character andmarginality from their micro-motivation and related literature. Thirdly, the author applies two methodsof multivariate statistical to empirical analysis: the first, using the Cluster Analysis method to select sixdimensions to divide the citizenization level of Rural-Urban migration of young people into fourdifferent categories, which have different characteristics. The second, using the Multiple LinearRegression analysis method, analyzing the factors include personal characteristics, flow conditions,education and training status, occupational status what affect on the citizenization level of Rural-Urbanmigration of young people. Finally, according to the results of the analysis, the author come up withsome macroscopical and exercisable countermeasures and suggestions in the development ofurbanization, urban-rural dual system, living conditions and life satisfaction training and socialenvironment to improve the citizenization level of this group. All the countermeasures and suggestionsis useful to Rural-Urban migration of young people to adapt city life, blend into city society, improvetheir citizenization level.
