The earliest application function training in the field of rehabilitation, in recent yearsbegan to infiltrate the functional training of competitive sports, as a kind of new method oftraining, for the development of competitive sports play a decisive role. In this paper, throughthe literature material law, comparative and inductive method, logical analysis methoddescribes the functional training concept, function and mechanism, discusses the function oftraining the existing training means; through the teaching experiment, analyzes theexperiment in teaching into functional training exercises method, will promote the javelinsports performance enhancement, throwing is has the general character, function of sometraining methods to other throwing events with the promotion of the role of. The function oftraining, physical training and the core training of the relationships between the three arecompared, to provide the basis for studying.For the throwing athlete implementing new physical training method--functionaltraining, so that athletes training produces very big change, the conclusions are as follows:functional training is a new training method, to enhance the throwing athlete's sportsperformance have stimulative effect; function training through the ball, cushion, suspensionrope and equipment and training method, to expand the training means, but alsocomprehensive development of athlete's functional capacity. Strengthen the throwing athletes'core stability, integration of the shoulder, hip, ankle flexibility and stability training, toimprove the athletes pose accuracy, strengthen the core parts of shoulder, ankle strength,make power chain power transfer effectiveness, the throwing athlete's special skill is morestable and smooth; function training not only for injured athletes have good effect ofrehabilitation, but also so that more powerful, keep athletes technical level, help the athletesto speed up the recovery speed, the training process to reduce the pain; functional trainingimproves throwing athletes body posture, so that the player has established the correct muscletraining mode, in special training to establish a reasonable power chain, increase the energytransfer efficiency, so as to achieve the purpose of improving athletic performance.
