With the rapid development of physical training theory and training methods,functional training theory has been introduced and applied to competitive sports.Its main purpose is to gradually and effectively improve the athletes' special competitive ability through targeted training.Pay attention to the integration of human quality and tap the potential of human body.Through the combination of sensory and neuromuscular control system,we can effectively improve the stability of the body,establish and improve the movement mode required by sports events,form an efficient and stereotyped power sequence,and effectively avoid the occurrence of sports injury while rapidly improving the sports ability.The purpose of this study is to explore the practical application of functional training in the physical training of elite rowers in China by comparing and analyzing the results of physical fitness test before and after winter training,and to summarize the functional training methods suitable for rowing events,so as to promote the athletes' sports performance to get a breakthrough.Based on the characteristics of functional training,physical training and rowing,this study combines the functional training system with rowing special training,and takes three Chinese women light weight rowers of national team as the research object,and uses the methods of literature review,data statistics,expert interview,logical analysis,case analysis and test to compare the data before and after winter training The conclusions are as follows:(1)The results of functional movement screening(FMS)before and after winter training showed that after 16 weeks of functional training,the problems of 3 Elite Female lightweight rowers in China,such as insufficient rotation range of thoracic vertebrae,insufficient core stability,weak hip abduction ability,lack of effectiveness of action mode,poor flexibility of hamstring muscle,etc.,were significantly improved.The total test scores all reached or exceeded the standard of 15 points The guide line indicates that there is no obvious functional movement disorder and the basic movement ability is qualified.(2)The results of basic physical fitness test before and after winter training show that after 16 weeks of functional training,the three elite women lightweight rowers in China have broken through the history in the test of maximum strength,core endurance and explosive power,and created personal best results.Therefore,it is proved that the reasonable integration of functional training into physical training plan can effectively improve athletes' basic sports ability.(3)By comparing the results of physical fitness test before and after winter training,it is found that functional training system is an important part of rowing physical training.It can help the coach team to find out the weak links of the athletes' physical fitness accurately,and can regard the athletes as a whole,carry out all-round training targeted and purposefully,and make the athletes develop in a balanced way.
