Although we have succeeded in suppressing the tendency of poor health for the lastingyears, the health situation of students in our country is still anxious as the overweightstudents and the rate of obesity keeping on increasing. Besides, the rate of poor eyesightincreased with young tendency. The Chinese National Physical Training Committee andMinistry of education announced the health survey result on the morning of Sep2th,2010inBeijing. It is compared with2005's situation.Physical exercises play a very important role in quality-oriented education. It has thespecial effect on cultivating students' healthy body, team spirit, and physical skills while theother subjects haven't got.In recent condition of teaching, what the youth and children'scognition on taking part in physical exercises is will affect their quality-oriented education.Inorder to get the theory support for developing physical exercises and boost the students tohave a healthy build,I made a research by means of studying the youth and children'scognition on taking part in physical exercises.Firstly, I used the methods of document literature, questionnaire survey, interviewingmethod, mathematics statistical method and I took the youth and children studying in schoolin Huizhou as the object of study. Then I collected five hundred and twenty questionnairesin seven middle schools, and talked with thirty students in two primary schools. Besides, Iinterviewed the leaders and physical teachers in the nine schools. Finally, I have got a lot ofuseful information. The research information is written in the thesis as follows:Research conclusions:1:22.6%students have some sports over an hour while51.7%has half an hour to anhour. There is a gap with the requirement–"taking exercises for an hour every day" ofChinese National Physical Training Committee. The reasons are as follows: insufficient timeof students taking exercises, defectiveness of the school playground, lack of the interest tophysical training, and coach's guidance, patriarchic deviation on exercises.2: Diversification is in both of the physical activities and the motivation. On one hand,Boys likes the exercises in proper order: basketball, football, swimming, volleyball, badminton, etc. On the other hand, girls' activities turn is: badminton, aerobics dancing, table tennis, volleyball, swimming, etc. That means boys like exercises opposed while girlsdon't. Girls like those with little intension and rhythm. Their motivation are strengtheningbody, entertaining, relaxing and hobbies and interests in turn.3:The physical classes are usually occupied by literacy classes, especially the classes ofstudents who are going to the middle school, senior high school and college.4:82.7%patriarch agree with their children doing more sports, but they should be awayfrom affecting their study and hurting themselves.
