Application Research Of Cloud Computing Assisted Instruction In College Teaching

In the process of educational informationization in our country, lots of colleges anduniversities have their own network centers and computing centers, and buy infrastructuralfacilities, bandwidth, system platforms, software programs, information resources in order topromote application of informatization, but it is high cost for schools. While cloud computingprovides an appropriate reference solution to schools through which it is possible toaccomplish tasks of data centers and network centers of education institutions.Colleges and universities develop informatization education resources; carry outinformatization education applications in a virtualized environment through the lease ofinfrastructure, computational capacity from cloud computing service providers. And they neednot to spend too much money on buying commercial software licenses. Many of theapplication softwares are even free, such as office suite. However, applications of thesesoftware resources in actual course teaching are few which reduce the efficiency andeffectiveness of classroom teaching.Based on the CCAI concept, this paper researched on application and practice of cloudcomputing in higher education, and introduced PaaS of cloud computing to the colleges anduniversities teaching aiming at the existing teaching model. And it took the implementation ofcourse 'Network Education Application' on the CCAI platform as an example throughstudying instructional system design, teaching practice, teaching environment, teachingevaluation and so on. Finally it built the CCAI platform of the course to optimize the teachingand learning process and promote the implementation of colleges and universities' teachingactivities.Along with the changing of information technology from computer age to Internet age,educational informationization will also go to computing, data and service center fromapplications of computer-assisted instruction center while cloud computing makes thistransformation possible and provides technical support. With the continuous development andpopularization of cloud computing, more and more colleges and universities will migrate theirworks to 'cloud' side by virtue of its cheap, convenient and safe advantages.
