After entering the 21st century, with the social and economic development, global warming has become a worldwide problem that cannot be avoided. As this problem arouses more and more public concern, low-carbon economic development model based on low power consumption, low pollution, and low emissions of carbon has increasingly become the focus of world attention. Energy technology, carbon-emission reduction technology, industrial structure, institutional innovation and the concept of human survival and development are undergoing fundamental changes. Low-carbon development, which is people-oriented, comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable, is a concrete manifestation of the scientific development concept. As a responsible dominant country, in the struggle for developing rights, China should not blindly follow and implement the standards developed by Western countries, but promote the transformation of the economic development models and the construction of ecological civilization, because to develop low-carbon economy, green economy, circular economy has become a trend. Under such background,the positive development of Low Carbon Knowledge Teaching and C-Education has become a social responsibility and a new challenge confronted by the educational development in our country. But the research and development of C-Education which hasn't aroused high attention, is still in a budding stage. In the process of accelerating IT application in the education sector, be sure to start early and make active efforts to study and explore ways of carrying out C-Education, which has great practical significance and long-term strategic significance for implementing the planning framework of the national medium and long term educational reform and development, and for accomplishing the IT application in education sector.Cloud Computing entered the field of education after 2009. And then the socialized service system, which promoted C- education, and the Cloud Computing Assisted Instruction, which regarded collaborative learning as the core concept, were applied into the information-based education and pedagogical techniques. Some educational and technological workers in China began to pay attention and explore the application of Cloud Computing Assisted Instruction. Despite the emergence of classroom teaching cases assisted by Cloud Computing, we still fall behind in this field, especially in the study of relationship between Cloud Computing and C-Education, because we are lack of mature research findings and application countermeasures. Then how to blend the concept of Cloud Computing into the process of IT application in the education sector, and how to use the " Cloud Computing Assisted Instruction" to shift the development of Information-assisted Education to C-Education, have become an urgent issue for the construction of Information-assisted Education in our country.Based on the research of C-education and CCAI in and around the world, this essay focused on coping with the challenge to the construction of Information-assisted Education offered by the development of low-carbon economy. In response to the widely application and quick development of Cloud Computing, this essay blended the theory of Cloud Computing into Information-assisted Education, and by means of literature study and case study, probed into the Cloud Computing Assisted Instruction. On the theoretical level, this essay proposed the concept and standards of C-Education and Information-assisted Education, elaborated on the meaning of " Cloud Computing Assisted Instruction ", demonstrated the favorable role that CCAI has played in constructing the system of low-carbon-based educational system, and developed the directions of applying CCAI; on the practical level, taking the platform learning of the course " Theories of Educational Technology " as an example, this essay put the theoretical framework into teaching practice, and based on this verified the feasibility and effectivity of applying CCAI to Low-carbon and Information-assisted Education.
