A lot of research work has been conducted on the Montessori method of education here in China and abroad. , and some achievements have resulted from such work. However, little research by applying this method has been done to help with teachers career development. This article will introduce what have been done and achieved at the Chengdu Philharmonic Experiment Preschool based on the full understanding of the Montessori method of education and its localization research results within China.Il ults ractice inspection havelysis of the been In the theoretical part, the researcher describes how to use Montessori method of education to help teachers establish a professional attitude, adapt themselves to new educational ideas, and enhances their ability in their workplace. The author has also made some analysis of the issues in the teachers professional development in connection with the basic concepts in the Montessori method of education.In the practical part, the researcher has made investigations by a random selection into one of the preschools where Montessori method of education is being applied and will demonstrate their experiences and a series of the activities they have been taking in association with Montessori method of education. Those activities have helped the teachers grow up professionally and as a result their educational career ability has been largely developed.
