Preliminary Inquiry Into The Spread And Nativism Of The Montessori's Education Method

Italy famous educator Maria Montessori founded her education method that was called " the Montessori's Education Method ",on the practice basis of Casa dei Bambini. Montessori's education method including training in muscle , training in sense organ, exercise of practical life and education of preliminary knowledge is considered as a scientific method of infant education. It reflects a new idea about child development and child education.Through the translation and publication of Montessori's education works and the founding of international teachers training courses, the Montessori's education method is spread extensively in every counties in the world , especially in the United States. Owing to putting the attention to the problem of nativism of the Montessori's education method ,the Montessori's education method has got the new birth and high development in the United States in the 60~70's of the 20th century.Although the Montessori's education method was spread into China in the beginning of 20th century, it is spread widely and made practical research on it's nativism after the 80's of 20lh century . In Taiwan of China, the Montessori's Foundation of Enlightening Research has made great efforts for the spread and nativism of the Montessori's education method in China.In Mainland China, many kindergartens have made practical research on nativism of the Montessori's education method and got encouraging achievements, so that it have promoted the reform and development of infant education in our country to a certain degree. In the process of research on nativism of the Montessori's education method , the personality of the circle of infant education between Taiwan of China and Mainland China have exchanged and cooperated.For the better encouragement of the spread and nativism of the Montessori's education method in our country, we have to learn to drawlessons from the Montessori's education method , attach importance to and save the problems in the process of nativism of the Montessori's education method, and make the practical research on nativism of Montessori's education method according to the condition of our country. As a result it pushes the reform and development of infant education in our country forward.
