Maria Montessori is a famous female educationist in the 20 th century, not only do her methods and opinions spread all over the world, but also have a great influence on educational activities. As one of the preschool educational methods in the global, the philosophy of Montessori is advanced, scientific and excellent, embodies the objective rules and principles of the childhood education. The prepared environment is the core of the Montessori teaching method which is composed of prepared environment, adult acting as tutor and working materials acting as active objects, namely the trinity of environment, tutor and material, also the way of leaving children working independently with tutors' guiding in the well-prepared environment. Employing the Montessori teaching method accurately can enhance the quality of teaching children and make the aim of childhood education come true.The philosophy of Montessori has been popularized nearly one hundred years in the world and acquired abundant achievements. By means of looking up the reference and we find that lots of scholars in China have been carrying out the research on the philosophy of Montessori. However, the most of the researches were restricted to the introduction,evaluation and how to apply it to the kindergarten, almost no studies focused on the actuality of using it in China and the application to family education. Not only should the Montessori teaching methods apply to the kindergarten, but also start from the beginning of lives of children and use it to the family education.The present paper regards the Montessori education application and family education as study objects, and will elaborate on the implementation of Montessori teaching method in the family education, including making a well-prepared environment, preparing a safe space and an orderly family live, providing much successful opportunity to children, giving the chance to let them communicate with other children, encouraging them by positive words, etc.Moreover, the theoretical basis of establishing the Montessori education is explored, namely the four aspects including embryonic phase, sensitive phase, periodicity phase and absorption phase during the children psychological development process. On these bases, the practicalsituation and implementation principles of the Montessori education in the childhood family education are focused on and five key aspects are discussed, including creation of environment, children working instinct, the role and mission for parents, sensorial education and harmonious family education. Finally, from the viewpoint of Montessori family education,several points of inspiration for the preschool education of our country are proposed.
