Educational subject participation method is a new teaching method aimed to train and develop students'subjectivity. The basic characteristic of this method is returning study to students, making student participate in the course of teaching and learning and learn how to learn, cooperate and innovate. Currently, first-line Chinese language teachers paid attention to concept and practice to create environment for students'participation, but the the effect was unsatisfactory.Through questionnaires and classroom observation in Henan Normal University Affiliated High School, we studied the problems when educational subject participation method is used in Chinese language course, discussed the impact factors and the principles of educational subject participation method in Chinese language course. We hope that would help first-line language teachers to take this new teaching method to classes.From the survey results, we found that the main problems about applying educational subject participation method in classroom are:(1) students were interested in Chinese language, but not the class teaching;(2) students always relied on teachers, lack of initiative and autonomy;(3) the "pseudo-participation" was observed in our study, which means students did not participate in Chinese language course actually and actively;(4) the activities, which students participate in after-school, was very few. The factors influencing students'participation include students'characteristics, teacher's principles and teaching environment. In our study, the main impact factors are student weak sense of participation, position of "stand-by", lacking of cooperation, creativity, initiative participation, and pseudo-participation. To solve the problem we talked above, based on classroom teaching of the outstanding teachers at Normal University High School and lots of related references, we give some suggestions of applying educational subject participating method to high school Chinese language course, as follows:(1) stimulate students' subject consciousness and encourage students'active participation;(2) orientation-preview, which is the base of students'participation;(3) optimize the cooperation program to avoid pseudo-participation;(4) make the theme reasonable to encourage students'creativity;(5) set more Chinese language practice activities, providing students more opportunities to participate in.
