| Class teaching is the basic form of education activities, the quality of which has a direct influence onthe whole education of a school. Classical Chinese teaching in high school is a key point as well as adifficult one in Chinese teaching. The low efficiency of Classical Chinese teaching has perplexed teachersand students for a long time. How to improve the efficiency of Classical Chinese teaching and realize higheffective teaching is of practical significance.This paper starts with related theories on effective teaching, and introduces some concepts on effectiveteaching and the present studies on Classical Chinese teaching in high school both at home and abroad.Taking students from the High School Attached to Henan Normal University as research object, throughquestionnaires and class observation, this paper analyzes the problems and insufficiencies existing inpresent Classical Chinese teaching. From this analysis, the author finds out both teachers and students haveproblems. Students lack interest, only have one learning purpose, haven’t formed good habits and ways thatare suitable to them. While teachers’ teaching ideas are too old, their teaching aims are too formalistic, andtheir teaching methods are too symbolic.For these problems, the author does a strategic research from three aspects: effective preparation,effective implementation and effective evaluation in Classical Chinese teaching. Effective preparationincludes changing teaching concepts, paying attention to the connection between junior and senior highschool, fixing and writing teaching aims flexibly and optimizing the design and compile of teachingscheme. Effective implementation includes stimulating learning motivation, developing learning interest toliven up the class atmosphere, reappear reading teaching, form Classical Chinese sense, set questionseffectively, promote thinking development and organize effective class discussion. In the end the paperdiscusses the implementation of developmental evaluation in Classical Chinese teaching in order to find aneffective teaching way, improve the efficiency of class teaching and realize students’ scientificdevelopment. |
