Chemistry is a natural science on the base of experiements. Chemical experimenttakes an important position in discipline development, Chemical experiment is a basicway to enable students to experiment the process of scientific inquiry, stimulateinterest in chemistry, strengthen the sense of scientific inquiry, and to promotechanging of the learning methods, to promote students' manipulative ability,creativityand innovation consciousness.Chemistry teaching focuses on the experiments, play a very important role in thecultivation of students comprehensive ability which can not be replaced with otherteaching methods.Since the beginning of the new curriculum reform, the pragmaticteaching of Kashgar has made gratifying achievements, but in the actual teaching, dueto various constraints and the impact of exam-oriented education, not enoughattentions been paid to teaching of chemical experiments, and chemical experimentteaching didn't give play to it's educational function.This article begins with analyzing the current situation of chemical experimentteaching in middle school by questionnaires and interviews, carried out aninvestigation and analytical study on the current situation of chemical experimentteaching in10middle schools of Kashgar, raises questions on the major problemsexisted in the current chemistry experiment teaching in Kashgar region, analyzes thecauses and proposed the corresponding solutions to the problems in experimentalteaching. This article is expected to be of some help for chemistry experimentteaching in the middle schools of Kashgar.
