The〈National Ordinary College Sports Curriculum To instruct Summary〉which was issued by the Ministry of Education of China in 2002 explicitly to stipulate that,Student's study appraisal should be the appraisal of the effect and the process,mainly includes sports and movement skill,cognition,study manner and behavior,contact and cooperation spirit, cordiality performance and so on.These appraisal targets,are more realized by mutually comments through the student.Along with the higher education reform in our country are unceasing deepening,specially the transformation from exam education system to the education for all-around development,proposed for a new task to the study appraisal research, how to adapt the transformation of education thought idea and appraises the student's study effect scientifically,facilitate the educational reform implementation,improves the teaching quality,fully displays student's main body,has become in the question which are being solved to the universities sports educational reform.In order to sharpen the student sports ability and the sports accomplishment,various universities have carried on the fruitful exploration to the sports study appraisal which has obtained the precious experience.In the study of 8 universities' investigation in Shanxi Province,has fully affirmed the universities sports study appraisal result,but simultaneously reflected the existence of difference with "Summary",if this kind of difference are not properly solved,it will certainly restrict the universities sports teaching reform and affects its teaching effect.The investigate methods in this paper are expert investigation,questionnaire investigation as well as mathematical statistic and so on.We carry on the study of public physical education study appraisal systems about the 8 universities' in Shanxi Province.The 8 universities are Shanxi University,North University of China,Taiyuan University of Technical,Shanxi Medical University,Shanxi Normal University,Shanxi Agricultural University,Tatung University and Shanxi University of Finance & Economics,the data of investigation basically reflect the present situation of sports study appraisal about the universities of entire province.Through the diagnoses to the above 8 universities',draws following conclusion:1st,the Shanxi Province universities' teachers and students are lack of the sports study appraisal concept and the elementary theory and the understanding of the method,show the insufficiency of the understanding about the concept "health first".A very big part of students are not unsatisfied with the present sports study appraisal.2nd,in the Shanxi various universities' sports study appraisal system,the proportion which the physical ability appraisal content occupies is big,the students who are not strong enough have to carry the psychological baggage and does not hope to have the physical education class.And this is not good to raise the concept "lifelong physical culture".Moreover,it is also insufficient about teaching students the sports and healthy theory knowledge,and the special sport skill appraisal content also mostly pauses in to the compulsory exercise inspection.3rd,most universities are unitary to the student sports study manner appraisal form,mostly depends on the attendance rate to take the evaluation criteria,lacks objective.Moreover, teachers draw few attention to the student's physical education in psychologically healthy question,in the middle of the evaluation criteria the cordiality performance and the cooperation spirit account for the proportion to be very few.4th,the sports study appraisal standard still paused in the school unification formulation standard,the teachers only holds the post of the standard performer's role,lacked others which are effective,reasonably and fair methods to appraises the student physical education. Moreover the absolute evaluation criteria and the relativity evaluation criteria effectively unifies with difficulty,the absolute evaluation criteria occupies the dominant position,it is disadvantageous to form the positive sports study manner to the student.5th,the appraisal method waited for the reform,the overwhelming majority teachers still pays attention to the method of quantitative evaluation,lacked to the students' "nature" qualitative appraisal.The teachers excessively relies on the end appraisal in teaching process,but has neglected to the process appraisal in particular diagnosis appraisal utilization.6th,the main body of appraisal is sole,the teachers appraises occupies the dominant position, it is very difficult in the certain degree to guarantee the test grades of the standard to be fair, effectively carried out.On the other hand,because of the influence of the solely main body appraises pattern is deep,adds the lack of comprehension of significance about appraises by oneself and each others,it is difficult to realize the appraisal interaction.
