Our country's service industry has been developing rapidly since the reform and opening-up. From 1978 to 2009, the added value proportion of the service industry has raised from 23.9% to 43.4%, and the employment proportion has raised from 12.2% to 34.1%. But in terms of internal structure, the proportion of China's circulation service industry and public service industry is higher and the proportion of China's consumer service industry and producer service industry is lower than that of the OECD countries. We can see that China's service industry is on low level and the internal structure is unreasonable. There are many reasons for this, this paper tries to analyze it from the aspect of the internal structure and puts forward some advice of the internal structure optimization. There are four chapters of this paper. Chapter one is an introduction which is about the definition, classification, literature review and the methods of the paper. Chapter two first describes the features of the change of the internal structure of our country's service industry since 1978. It turns out that the proportion of the circulation service industry has declined, and the proportion of the consumer service industry has raised, and the proportion of the producer service industry has been up and down, and the public service industry has been steady. Then chapter two analyzes the theoretical foundation of the trend from the aspect of industry correlation, and finds out the influential factors from demand and supply. Chapter three carries out empirical analysis. Chapter four lists the conclusions. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)China's circulation service industry and consumer service industry are on the way towards high-level, and the producer service industry is easily influenced by policy; (2)Compared with the OECD countries, the development of service industry of China and other "BRIC" countries puts more impact on other industries, but being affected less; (3)The intermediate input rate of China's service industry is lower than that of other countries, while the rate of service being capital is higher. It means that China's service industry tries its best to provide intermediate inputs for the national economy, but it's far from satisfaction. The total amount of the service industry is not enough, especially modern service; (4)Increasing per capita income and market openness and the putting forward of some policy to guide the development of the producer service are the main means of optimizing the internal structure.
