The Supplier Evaluation Model Research Based On Improved TOPSIS

As the continual advancement of science, technology and information technology, as well as the further deepening of global economic integration, the competition between enterprises have turned from product competition to supply chain competition. As for the suppliers, the upstream of supply chain, a good supplier team is the key factor in winning the victory for competition of supply chain. Therefore, scientific supplier choice has become the focus that enterprises attention to. How to construct a set of feasible effective supplier evaluation index system, as well as reasonable evaluation method usage of supplier choice is the problem needs urgent resolution in enterprise competition.This article starts from the aspect of the interest maximization of supply chain, analyzes the factors of influencing supplier choice; constructs reasonable supplier choice evaluation index system; uses method subjectivity and objectivity combination, qualitative and quantification combination, constructs the supplier choice evaluation model based on TOPSIS improvement, and then sort the merits of the suppliers, Select the most appropriate one. Finally it carries out demonstration for the above methods. The detailed research work of article is as follows:(1) Establishment of supplier evaluation index system. According to the principles of system comprehensive, reasonable scientificity, qualitative and quantification combination, and dynamic, it has constructed supplier comprehensive index evaluation system. According to different natures of all the indexes, it is divided into profit index and cost index. At the same time, according to index of different types, carrying out standardization disposal.(2) By using the idea of assembled empowerment we carry out empowerment for index. We can use entropy method to carry out objective empowerment for the current index, and AHP to carry out subjective empowerment for index. Two empowerment methods are combined by the responding percentage, gets the standard weight.(3) We have established supplier evaluation model based on TOPSIS improvement. After the combination of matrix processed by index standardization and two empowerment methods, the resulted weight regarded as the factor, establishing the supplier evaluation model based on TOPSIS improvement.(4) By using an example we verified the supplier evaluation model and the model based on the improved TOPSIS. Though analyzing the results, we can know that it can greatly enhanced the supply chain performance only by sorting the merits of the supplier, and by adopting different strategies for vendors of different evaluation value. This article carries out improvement on the design of supplier index system, and classification for index of different nature. On the calculation of evaluation index weight, it applies to the comprehensive empowerment method of subjectivity and objectivity combination, it has practical significance.
