Nanjing Rural Tourism Experience In The Development Of Research

At present, rural tourism plays an important role in different countries so that it is becoming one of most important part of tourism industry. In the background of leisure and experience economy, people do not satisfy with simple sightseeing instead of seeking for tourism form that combined with experience. Meanwhile, experience tourism begins to gain great popularity and becomes important content of modern tourism products.The study is based on rural tourism in Nanjing city. Firstly, author summarizes the basic theories of rural tourism and experience. Based on the theories, the author analyses the factors of rural tourism development and evaluates the nature resource, culture resource, social resource in Nanjing by SWOT.Secondly, the author analyses the fact of supply and demand. From the perspective of market supply, the author analyses the types of rural tourism product in Nanjing, types of product and distribution of rural scenic spot, tourism facilities and the structure of operators; From the perspective of market demand, the author gives the demographic characteristics of tourists, outing of tourists, sensation of tourists for rural tourism, evaluation of tourists for rural tourism in Nanjing and so on by questionnaire.Thirdly, the author analyses the problems in system of products, facilities, marketing, operators and governmental factions in Nanjing.At the last, the author makes the conclusion that the rural tourism combined with experience is key for rural tourism development on account of characteristics and attributes of rural tourism. Supported with the theory of experience, the author puts forward the measures for rural tourism combined with experience in Nanjing: redesign the themes for rural experience tourism, the ideas for how to develop product system for rural experience tourism and improve facilities under experience theory. According to these measures, the author comes up with new methods for marketing and supporting of government. Above all, it is designed to promote the development for rural tourism in Nanjing in the perspective of the theories of experience and rural tourism planning.
