The most important distinction between the era of knowledge economy and former times is that the competitiveness and development power of the enterprises depend on quantity and skills of intellectual capital. As an important function within the enterprise, the role of human resources management will be more and more significant. The level of human resources management will gradually become a key of competitive advantage. Salary management is the important constituent of human resources management. Perfect? scientific and reasonable salary system of human resources can hedge risks and improve the competitive power. Salary incentive system is the most important part of incentive system, which is widely used in companies.DX Company belongs to venture capital industry, where human capital is quite important. If the company wants to be stronger, it must strengthen the competition for project staff, which should be attracted and retained to develop the company. However, there are many disadvantages in the salary system. The problems and deficiencies cause a lot of dissatisfaction of project staff, which directly affects the growing of the company. With the gradual deepening of the company's business, redesigning salary system is imperative. The goals of salary system are attracting, retaining, developing and motivating talented project staff and promoting the construction of human resources organizations by establishment of a competitive salary system.This paper shows particularity of DX Company as a member of the venture capital industry and tries to solve problems in salary system of the company. In addition to study of related theories, the paper carries out various activities to form a new reform program of salary system, including questionnaires and interviews, the job analysis, job evaluation, salary surveys, distribution of project benefits and other methods. The new salary system reflects the different responsibility of members in the project and differences of task difficulty, showing the fairness and competitiveness.This paper consists of five parts. The first part shows the background, meaning, methods and main content of the study; the second part describes the theory of the salary system; the third part finds the problems of existing salary system through the salary satisfaction survey in project staff; the fourth part describes the detailed process of designing a salary system for project staff; the last part is the conclusions and recommendations. Through the research of salary system, the paper gives a practical reference how to enhance the competitiveness of venture capital companies in the globalization process.
