Air transportation enterprises is a highly competitive enterprise, also is a specialized type of talent intensive enterprises, to build a scientific and reasonable salary management system, can help companies attract and retain talented people, to promote the enterprise’s human resources to play the greatest efficiency, and can save the cost of creating efficiency for the enterprise. A suit of salary management system suited to the development of enterprises can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the staff work, improve efficiency, play their creativity; the development of enterprises has a lasting and far-reaching influence.The ground staffs of YN Airline Company have professional and technical personnel, job variety, employee self value cognition, these characteristics make YN airlines facing with the phenomenon of unstable, positive work and job hopping phenomenon. This paper analyzes the current situation of the study of modern salary management theory and the status quo of the ground staff salaries of YN airlines, and points out the existing problems. Through the survey of the company’s employee satisfaction, the existing salary management system can not reflect the company’s strategic planning, compensation and incentive function, the fairness of the compensation is not enough, the lack of flexibility of the floating wage is not enough to hinder the employee’s incentive, performance evaluation system is not perfect and so on. This paper presents the design principles of six major principles, such as equity, economy, motivation, competition, strategic orientation, ability oriented and performance oriented, etc., and puts forward the optimization scheme of the ground staff salary system of YN Airline Company. Finally, in order to ensure that the new compensation system can be implemented smoothly, the corresponding safeguard measures are put forward.
