The development of a long history of family business, which as a form of business organization is not only the original enterprise organizational form, called the company's "originator", and not just at the handicraft era, or in the modern industrial era of economic development, family businesses have been the development of more or less, in today's economic structure of society has a pivotal position. Especially in recent years, the rapid development of family business, becoming a global business the most common form of organization. In China, more than 90% of private enterprises is the family business. In the reform and opening up 30 years of development, the family business from continue to grow, as China's economic development and social stability made a greater contribution to progress. However, with the increasingly fierce market competition, many family business bottlenecks, trouble, part of the family business is gradually moving towards prosperity from the early collapse, resulting in this situation are many reasons, among which is the most important business and cultural backwardness one of the factors, this, how it can be transformed into family business culture affect the development of China's economic development as well as an important factor.From the definition of family business, corporate culture, family culture, the modern concept of corporate culture, study abroad on the Family Enterprise Research, summed up the traditional family business culture and modern corporate culture differences and similarities. And corporate culture of the family's role in business growth and limitations, which the family role of enterprises in business growth, including family cohesion of the enterprise is far stronger than the general business, family business is more honest, reputation, brand protection, will help strengthen family business management, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises; limitations include the traditional family culture, lack of trust outsiders easily lead to a crisis of confidence, the traditional family culture led to the exclusive mechanism for enterprises employing cronyism, the arbitrary nature of traditional family culture, lack of scientific and business decision making and democratic , the traditional family business culture encountered vague position, single content and other issues. Then from the perspective of family business life cycle, analysis of the family business culture in the business growth process changes.
