Since 2007, the living environment of China's manufacturing industry has greatly changed: rising costs, RMB continues to appreciate, the national policy of export tax rebate and processing trade policy adjustments, increasing foreign trade barriers, many manufacturing enterprises face operational difficulties, the traditional manufacturing industry development model has been challenged. From the beginning of the new century, responding to the changed environmental, the outstanding manufacturing enterprises have to explore new development ways. There are precedents; international manufacturers have used to extend the practice of value-added services, such as General Electric, IBM, Hitachi Elevator Company, Eastman Kodak Company. Through the study of the brewing battle about the round of the service-enhanced of China's manufacturing industries, this article hopes to raise some ideas for upgrading "Made in China".Firstly, this article analyzes the cause and models of manufacturing industries in building a theoretical framework of service enhancement strategies.Secondly, our country's current situation of the manufacturing sector in the service of is analyzed, and through two representative sectors (i.e. household appliances manufacturing and automotive manufacturing) analysis, the problems on China's manufacturing enterprises service enhancement are summed up, its main features: First, in the initial stage of transition, transformation of low-level, mostly service extension model. Second, there is a lack of the core competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises in short of the base on transformation to the service industry;Third, serious internal service has weakened the marketing foundation of the transition from manufacturing to service; Fourth, multinationals dominate the high-end manufacturing, for the transition to high-end services business is in a lot of pressure.Finally, to implement China's manufacturing strategy of the service enhancement, from the government,industry and business point of view, this article gives three suggestions, which can promote the transition of the growth mode of Chinese manufacturing enterprises ,to raise the profits growth of a single corporate , which will provide some help to upgrade Chinese manufacturing.
