Influence Of The Industrial Development On Rural Economy In Resource-Rich Areas

Yulin city is the energy industry base of China ,and there is huge amount of coal, petroleum, natural gas and other kind of mineral resources. On the one hand, Yulin city is a big city of energy, and it has high-speed total industrial output value. On the other hand, there are a lot of poor county and poverty population in Yulin City. Nowdays energy and the three agricultural problems attract extensive attention. As a result, it is important for us to do research on this area.In this paper, the industrial development and rural economic development of Yulin city during the past ten years is analyzed. Besides, related data is analyzed empirically. The main objective is shown as below: to show the evolution of the industrial development and rural economic development of Yulin city; to explore the impact of industrial development on rural economic development; to put forward some suggestions for the development of rural economy. At the beginning of this paper, the research scope is defined at the theory and basic part, and the principle of the impact of industrial development on rural economic development is described. Then, gross domestic product, total industrial output value, total agricultural output value, rural per capita net income, the proportion among the three industries are used as index to discuss the evolution of the industrial development and rural economic development of Yulin city Quantitatively and qualitatively. After that, empirical analysis are used to discuss the impact of industrial development on rural economic development. And the empirical analysis is divided into three parts as follows. Firstly some selected statistics of the past ten years are used to analyze the impact of industrial development on rural economic development ,by building model and using Two-stage least squares ,while total agricultural output value, rural per capita net income, total grain output, crop sown area, the first industry basic construction investment, animal husbandry and fishery population, total power of agricultural machinery are used as index for agricultural development. Then Dingbian county and Wubao county are selected as two samples to analyze the question deeply. At the end of chapter four, questionnaires of twelve counties in Yulin city are used to analyze the impact of industrial development on rural economic development from the view of farmers.At the end of this paper, such conclusions are got as following: The gap between the industrial development and rural economic development is becoming huger and huger, the impact of industrial development on rural economic development is needed to be enhanced in the future; District economic imbalance exists in Yulin city. So several countermeasures are put forward: Striving to develop industry while transforming the economic growth pattern; Supporting and encouraging the development of agriculture; leading industrial enterprises to invest rural economy; Increasing public expenditure on social security , medical care and education; Perfecting the construction of urban infrastructure in order to improve the living and production conditions of farmers; Supporting the local small and medium-sized technology corporation; Enlarging the input of science and technology in the field of rural economy.
