The Study Of Distribution Centers Location Of Cold Chain

In recent years, with steady development of our economy, the requirement of increasing the material standards of living is urgent; Besides, with the quickened pace of life and the increase of wordload, people have less time for shopping .So the demand of frozen food has increased greatly. The role of the logistics distribution system of cold chain is more important. As the bridge connecting food producers and sales terminals, the distribution center of cold chain has a strategic position.The scientific plans of distribution center location can improve the overall efficiency in the very great degree. However, compared with the foreign research,research on distribution center position of cold chain has lagged behind in China. The theory system of distribution center position of cold chain that is practical and efficient has not been formed, which is an important harrier that blocks the development of cold chain system in China. To continue to explore the cold chain system that is more suitable for Chinese condition, the dissertation only launches research to the problem of distribution center position of cold chain.Starting from theory firstly, this paper explained the researches on this issue that had been done both in domestic and abroad by analyzing document, and the research contents and methods were put forward in the paper. Then it introduced the fundamental theories of cold chain and its delivery centers that included the definition of cold chain, characteristics, the basic flow and the principles of location. In order to let the research have much more pertinence, cold chain distribution was compared with conventional logistics distribution, by which the main distinction had been found. These laid the groundwork for the part of factors analysis. Following, the main factors which affected the location of cold chain distribution centers were analyzed based on classification. Whereafter, the characteristics, applicable conditions, the merits & demerits of models and methods for location of cold chain distribution centers were introduced respectively, which prepared well for selecting methods and constructing model below. After that, from angle of practice the paper combining with GIS technology set up a plan for location of cold chain distribution centre based on transport cost and land cost and evaluated it by AHP. At last, the plan which was proposed in this paper was applied to a example, which proved the feasibility and embodied its realistic significance.
