The Empirical Study Of Technical Diffusion In SME Clusters: Consider The Interaction Among Enterprises

In the enterprise cluster, it is worth studying what is "the interaction among enterprises",and what is the mechanism of the technical diffusion considering it. Therefore, this article willresearch Anping wire mesh cluster in Hebei Province as the object, so as to study the scene andthe mechanism of technical diffusion considering interaction among enterprises in Anping wiremesh cluster, and then concluded them in small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) cluster.The main contents and conclusions of the article are organized as follows:Firstly, the interaction among enterprises has been defined. In the cluster the features of theinteraction among enterprises are prevalent, inter-learning, inter-influence and socialembeddedness.Then put forward hypotheses and design a questionnaire, and do an empirical research inAnping SME clusters, Hebei Province. Analyze data using SPSS18.0. The results indicate that:(a) their innovation mainly rely on externaly introducing new equipment; (b) the kind of thebunch in it is Commission-Processing, Mutual-Equity, Mesh-Specifications and Association; (c)the technical diffusion of Anping wire mesh cluster is maped; (d) some recommendations aremade for existing issues in Anping. On the one hand, enterprises should give full play the role ofbunches to speed up information exchange and eliminate learning differences among them; onthe other hand, government should take full advantage of the differences among bunches in orderto take the professional road.Finally, according to the results of empirical research, the paper summarized the mechanismof technical diffusion in SME cluster, especially the technical diffusion of ZWJ series of lightmesh loom in Anping wire mesh cluster. The results indicate that: (a) there had some bunch inthe SME cluster, the shape of technical diffusion in each bunch is S curve, and they are differentform each other; (b) interaction among enterprises easily and necessarily take place in the bunch,and it is the key of factors resulting in the different speed of technical diffusion in the bunch; (c)the interaction among enterprises influence the adoption decision, which had a positive or negative effects on technical diffusion in the SME cluster.
