| To be the most competitive cable manufacturer is the strategic goal of the company. As the key external cable manufacturing base of the group, and with the threat of increasing cost, FH company aims to enhance the production efficiency by introducing standard operation program, which is also the necessary step to meet the strategic goal of the company.The article introduces the basic theories of the industrial engineering --- Method Study and main spirit of the standard operation. Considering the on-site management characteristics and the problems encountered during improvement implementation, the article explicates how to establish a systematical standard operation model in the company. Preparation is the first step, which includes organization establishment, training and audit system. Then the five stages of a standard operation program are introduced in the article: 1.Select the subject, which focuses on the priority assessment of the subjects selected, and the setup of goals and plans; 2.Current status analysis, in which the three standard operation sheets are used to find out the key problems; 3.Problem analysis, in which the analysis tools defined in method approach are used to find out the true causes; 4.Action taking, in which visual management and fool-proofing principles are applied to implement the corrective actions; 5.Standardization, in which improvement related documentation are updated and related personnel are properly trained for future onsite management and long-term tracking. Finally, the article explained the application of standard operation improvement by some examples.The theme of the article is to introduce some specific methods in the implementation of standard operation and method study for operations improvement in the company. Through FH company standard operation program design and approach, so as to provide some references and expirences for management personnel to research standard operation to a further extend. |
