Investment decision-making is an important part of daily production and expanding the construction for the enterprises, which directly affects the production capacity and the income. Higher technological dependence on Congress and the significant uncertainty of market are the characteristics of equipment investment. Investment in equipment will not only affect the success or failure of enterprises to survive, and even affect the company's future development. Therefore its essential to improve the equipment management daily operations and the scientific of the investment decisions. With the upgrade of the construction technology of the enterprises in our country, the enterprises and decision-makers urgent need some more scientific and accurate investment decision-making theory and method when they are doing qualitative research.Grey system theory is a new method on researching little data, poor information and uncertainty problems.This paper introduces the gray system theory into the investment decision-making process. Summarize and draw calvary industry research and correspond mathematical model on the key contents of decision on the perspective of construction enterprises. GM(1,1) prediction model, gray clustering decision-making and gray associated decisions are the main methods used. This paper first talks about the implication of the construction machinery, equipment management status and problems, then focuses on the analysis of the principles, objectives, types, decision-making methods, characteristics and procedures of the equipment investment decisions, at last establish the appropriate gray decision-making model, which is used in a equipment investment decision to verify the feasibility of the using gray model in management investment decisions. The main result of this paper:This paper shows that the use of the method in the equipment investment decision-making project is feasible. Also hope that it can provide a systematic quantitative analysis to companies and investors by the study on the above problems. So that it will be useful to make the decisions more scientific and professional.
