Empirical Research On The Effect Of Commercial And Trade Circulation On Economic Growth In Gansu Province

Commercial and trade circulation industry is the basic industry of national economy.In the market economy,business is not only a bridge linking production and consumption,but also playing a leading role in production,consumption and the process of adjusting the industrial structure.Although circulation itself cannot increase material wealth,it can resolve contradiction of production and consumption brought by social and industrial division of labor.As far as Gansu province concerned,how to promote the relatively backward economic by developing circulation is especially important.View from the existing literature,there are a large number of domestic articles concerning development,reformation and competitiveness assessment of Chinese circulation industry.But researches for the western region are relatively limited,let alone for the commercial and trade circulation industry's leading role in regional economy.Exactly based on this,this paper investigates an overview of the development of Gansu circulation,its impact on economic development and contribution to tertiary industries by using part of core evaluation index system of commercial circulation and econometric models.Overall,with the three decades of reformation and opening up,the development of commercial and trade circulation in Gansu Province has made remarkable achievements,accompanied by some problems however,which reflected quantitatively by the core evaluation index system of commercial circulation.Which can be seen by calculated data,evaluation index of commercial circulation in Gansu such as contribution rate of circulation industry,employment index,resource distribution index and so on are all laggard.But it's no doubt that the development of circulation of Gansu does have a great impact on economic growth.This paper exactly analyses the impact on GDP made by circulation added value and fixed assets investment of Gansu by econometric models and the relationship between circulation and tertiary industries. It makes empirical demonstration of the circulation's contribution to the economic development of Gansu.We should take corresponding countermeasures for the problems of circulation development in Gansu.For instance,rectify and standardize circulation market order,cultivate and improve the market system,deepen the reformation of circulation system,speed up construction of rural market system.That's the only way for circulation industry of Gansu to play its leading role in promoting national economy sustainedly and stably.
