The Research On The Evaluation Of The Usability Of B2B E-commerce Platform

With the development of network technology and the acceleration of the speed of economic globalization, e-commerce has achieved a vigorous development. The number of such websites is growing with its type increasing and function continuously becoming stronger. Hoping to work out some measure and suggestion on usability construction to better regulate Chinese B2B e-commerce platform by developing a"B2B e-commerce platform usability evaluation system", we selected B2B e-commerce platform as a target in the website usability evaluation research.Based on systematicness and comprehensivesness, we combined theory and practice to study the usability of Chinese B2B e-commerce platform. To start, we reviewed related papers, making fundamental theory of usability clear, and the development of e-commerce was summaried as well. Then we took Microsoft Usability Guide and the evaluation system put forward by Fengyingjian for reference, combining the characteristic of China's B2B e-commerce platform to construct a usability evaluation system, which is suitable to China's B2B e-commerce website. By analysing, we concluded that the content, design, technology, prescribed procedure and service are the five key indicators of valuating and improving Chinese B2B e-commerce platform usability.This thesis thoroughly provided some aspects which website provider shuold pay attention to, and by this study, we hoping to provide some useful suggestions to promote the construction of the e-commerce platform usability in China.Moreover, we also hoping that we can make some contribution to standardizing the e-commerce platform usability construction.
