The industrial structure has been playing a vital role since the origin of the city. The changing rules of the industrial structure provide thrust power for deepening urbanization, prompting the integration of space resource elements. Vice versa the accelerating urbanization could absolutely speed up the industrial structure evolution. The two factors have very close relationship between each other. This paper studying the urbanization in China from industrial structure's perspective is mainly to solve the following questions: What is the theoretical connotation of industrial structure? What's the general path for interaction between the industrial structure and urbanization and how to happen? How did they influence each other specifically in China? In future how shall we carry on the urbanization? For answering the issues above, the paper is organized as follows:Chapter One describes the background and significance of the topic selected, and makes a definition for"urbanization"&"industrial structure".Chapter Two firstly does a brief review about the industrial structure theory, and then sums up the related theoretical studies on interaction between the industrial structure and urbanization. Both are in order to prepare for the next positive study.Chapter Three carries out positive study on the development of urbanization in China and the evolution of industrial structure, mainly from the aspects of output ratio and labor proportion in thrice industrial.Chapter Four based on the previous positive study puts forward the policy suggestions for future urbanization in China, combining the cost changes of urbanization in our country after the upgrading of industrial industry with the requests of adjusting industrial structure by promoting urbanization continuously. The final part is conclusion, also point out the deficiency of this paper and the direction of further study.Through research we found that China's industrial development to promote the role of urbanization was not significant. The urbanization in China and non-agriculture of industrial structure were relatively strong correlated. Particularly the urbanization and non-agriculture & servicization of the labor structure has a more closely correlation. Study suggests that although China's urbanization has achieved some success, it is still low compared to the international standard; especially the proportion of service sector is far below the level of developed countries, which is a serious impediment to raising the level of urbanization. Therefore, developing the tertiary industry, particularly the producer service to stimulate non-agricultural employment growth for rising urbanization rate is currently the basic way in China. And it's also the inevitable choice to upgrade the industrial structure of our country. At the same time, as the root of our country, foundation of agriculture can't be shaken. Furthermore though the rise space of industry is limited, the regional transferring from east to west has much to do. So we should take good care of three industries and keep their coordinated development. Additionally, with the advance of China's urbanization our previous low-cost advantage is vanishing; especially the high price of housing has become a natural barrier for more people to enter the city. How to reduce the cost of urbanization will be an inevitable challenge.
