As one of the most non-developed provinces in China, how to promote economic development and improve rural people's income and narrow the gap with the developed areas of China are the main goals of future construction in Tibet. In 2007, Tibet's rural population accounts for 61.7% of the total population, how to improve those people's income is an important role in promoting economic development. Today, either between farmers and urban residents in Tibet, or compared with the western 12 provinces, or compared with the national average, the income levels has widened, especially compared with the farmers of developed eastern developed provinces. Therefore, how to increase the income of Tibetan farmers, narrow the gap between urban and rural areas as well as with the average level of China will be the core point and the difficult title.Using empirical analysis and regression analysis method, this paper gives a general picture of the farmers' income in Tibet, analyzes the main influencing effects of farmers' income.and compares with the impact of the farmers' income in Jiangsu Province. Then combining the internal environment and external mechanisms of Tibet, this paper will put forward measures to increase the income of farmers.Basing on the structure divide of farmers' income, the paper first analyses the farmers' income increase in Tibet from the angle of quantity, including the overall characteristics of the income increase, the changes of income structure and nature. Then the paper makes a comparative analysis about the farmers' income, including the gap of income between urban and rural areas in Tibet, the gap with the average level of the western 12 provinces, the average level of China, Jiangsu Province and so on. And we can find that the level of farmers' income in Tibet has a low stage. Also though the difference measure in Tibet, Jiangsu, China, we find that the diversity is growing. The paper analysis the affecting factors of the farmers' income in Tibet by principal component regression model, finds that there are two important factors in all of the factors. Then the paper compares with Jiangsu Province using the same indicator variables affect. The results showes that:as a less developed regions, the farmers' income in Tibet has been driven mainly by government investment, such as the investment in agricultural production, financial institutions in agricultural loans; while as a developed areas, the mainly promote for farmers' income in Jiangsu Province is the urbanization. Finally, basing on the previous empirical and regression analysis, combined with the internal mechanism and external environment in Tibet, we proposed suggestions on the increase of farmers' income.
