Research On Synergetic Innovation Model Of SMEs In Cluster

With the development of globalization and knowledge economy, the enterprises are facing increasing competition. To survive and develop in the fierce market competition, the enterprises must focus on improving the core competitiveness. Innovation is the key of enhancing the core competitiveness and the important force to promote enterprises' development. Besides, innovation is increasingly becoming an important part in the operation. Comparing with large enterprises, because of the congenital disadvantage such as firm size, financial strength, the stock of knowledge, the quality of staff, management ability, SMEs lack innovative resources and has poor ability to resist risk. Industrial cluster can effectively solve or alleviate the problem of innovation in SMEs. In industrial cluster, SMEs can innovate with other SMEs, large firms, universities and research institutions to make up the disadvantage of single SME via the industrial cluster network.The paper begins to study the characteristics of SMEs in industrial cluster and use the method of SNA to analyze the strengths and weaknesses about innovation of SMEs in industrial cluster, and then research the process of synergetic innovation further. Base on the analysis of innovative mechanisms, the author identifies the inherent laws and summarize four factors which impacts on the selection of model about synergetic innovation. These four factors are the structure industrial cluster, market competition, technology strategies and the ability of innovation. Then, the author proposes three major models of synergetic innovation and builds the model of selection. Finally, the author selects three cases to analyze these models.The paper is with great important significance to guide SMEs in industrial cluster to carry out synergetic innovation. Based on the actual situation, meanwhile, it can help them select the appropriate model of synergetic innovation to improve the efficiency and successful rate of innovation, besides, it also can reduce the risk of innovation.
