Profit is the lifeblood of business, companies are not concerned about profits, the decline of death just the matter of time. The commitments to be honored, with China's entry into WTO, The international retail giant in Chinese market make the more footsteps quickly, especially, after the 2008 financial crisis, the Chinese market is regarded as the vital component in the global market. China's retail industry, especially large supermarket chains face to increasingly tough challenges, the inherent profit model has been difficult to resist the momentum of international retail giants to conquer new territories.Based on the study of the world's top two ranked retail giant Wal-Mart, Carrefour profit model, found that Wal-Mart's supply chain management, which a low- two high profit model is not suitable for the development of the major supermarket chains in China. The decentralized management of Carrefour Fresh-profit model is also not suitable for the development of large supermarket chains in China On this basis, the author analysis the macro-environment and the concept of the environment in Changchun City, using the pyramid principle on major supermarket chains that the profit model of doing construction to explore the key factors in Changchun.Finally, with reference to major supermarket chains in Changchun City, the profitability factor analysis, found that major supermarket chains in China is facing four major problems:①domestic large supermarket chains are small and weak②large domestic supermarket chains management is low-tech network, the low degree of intelligence;③large domestic supermarket chains marketing poor innovation;④large domestic supermarket chains, retail e-commerce model for the development trend of inadequate preparation. To solve these problems, large domestic supermarket chains should take the following measures to deal with:①to establish strategic cooperative alliance to speed up mergers and acquisitions within the industry to form a moderate scale;②to increase the investment in information technology hardware construction, to the intelligent information changes in retail network;③enhance corporate service standards and their core competitiveness;④to build e-commerce version about major supermarket chains, to seize the emerging markets.
