The small and medium-sized enterprises are the main body of the market economy, and it has a very important position and role in China's economic and social development. Small and medium enterprises play an important role in the promotion of economic and social development, expand open to the outside world, increase finance income, employment and maintain social stability. However, small and medium-sized enterprise of our country also exist some problems in various aspects to varying degrees, their combined performance as the core competitiveness is weak, which becomes the main bottleneck in restricting the development of small and medium enterprises in our country.Core competitiveness of enterprises to obtain long-term competitive advantage of the unique ability of small and medium-sized enterprises, is the fundamental guarantee for the development, enhance the core competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises to our country economy development has a great sense.Since the reform and opening up, Our economy and trade has been developing rapidly. At the same time, the import and export trade volume doubled, enterprise team expands ceaselessly. In our accession to the WTO and the right to operate foreign trade liberalization, a number of small and medium enterprises has to growing up in recent years, which is becoming a new force in our economic development. However, because the reasons of the small and medium-sized enterprise themselves, it makes the enterprises have some difficulties in the development which causes the enterprise whole competition ability is insufficient. So, how to make these enterprises in market competition to grow? To cultivate the core competitiveness of enterprises, has become a matter of our country 's overall economic development strategy.This article begins from the core competitiveness of the concept and characteristics, firstly, it discusses our country to the small and medium-sized enterprise division standard, At the conclusion of the research results at home and abroad are put forward on the basis of the concept of core competence, and analysis of its characteristics; The second part introduced our country small and medium-sized enterprise to enhance the core competitiveness of the necessity from the theory and practice two respects; The third part analyzes the core competitiveness of the current situation and problems. These main problems are: small scale of enterprises, economic strength is relatively weak;business leaders lack of entrepreneurship, has no advanced the concept of guidance ; enterprises lack of brand consciousness, do not have core technology and products; informatization level is low, the electronic commerce and the network marketing activities are not universally begin; low level of enterprise management, human resources and so on; The fourth part in view of the above question, proposed solves the question countermeasure.Therefore, we concluded that we should understand the survival and development of the status quo, and draw lessons from foreign enterprises outstanding knowledge and culture, and with its own characteristics, to find a suitable development path for our small and medium-sized enterprise. Through scientific establish enterprise development planning, the establishment of scientific management mechanism, the core technology and organization innovation and the development of modern network marketing, cultivating modern talent competition mechanism method, cultivating core competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. In order to further strengthen advantage of the enterprises in the international competition to make the enterprises of our country can enter the international market, to make enormous construction for the economy of our country.The feature of this article is that it takes the small and medium enterprises in Hengshui as an example, linking theory with practice, hoping to find suitable for local small and medium enterprises to upgrade the core competitiveness and the countermeasures. Such as: to analyse the competitive situation, seek and competitor difference, take proper marketing strategy; to create its own brand, enhance brand reputation; to carry out network marketing, take the way of informatization develops ; talent, training qualified personnel.
