Analysis On The Export Of Agricultural Products From China To Japan

In recent years, agricultural products trade issues from China to Japan are rapidly becoming a heated point in Sino-Japanese economic and trade relations. Japan is one of the most important trade partners of China. The agricultural products trade is essential for China and Japan. What is more, Japan is our biggest export market of agricultural products. Therefore, it is meaningful to the development of Sino-Japanese trade that we should pay much attention to studying the character of the agricultural products trade and the factors which influence the bilateral trade between China and Japan.Nowadays, the agricultural products export of China to Japan has made great achievements since recent years. Japan is still the biggest export market of Chinese agricultural products, but the ratio of the number of agricultural products export to Japan and the total number of agricultural products export to the world is increasingly decreasing, especially after the implementation of"the Technical Barrier to Trade of Japan". The dissertation analyzes the trade scale, product structure and district structure of the agricultural product export from China to Japan and discusses the character of Sino-Japanese agricultural product trade. At present, the main agricultural products China export to Japan are aquatic products, vegetables, animal products and fruits and so on. The main export provinces are Shandong, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Fujian and Jiangsu. However, there are many problems to the development of agricultural product trade between the two countries, such as the poor quality of our agricultural product, the lower speed of the export development, and the weak power of the enterprise and so on.The factors which influence the export trade from China to Japan are various. It mainly includes the following ones: the technology,the initial resources,the trade policies,the structure of the export market and the exchange rate. The initial resources contain the natural resources and the location. The trade policies include the preferential trade policies of the two countries, the interference of the two countries and the tariff barriers and the non- tariff barriers. In order to deal with the problems and barriers in the Sino-Japanese agricultural product trade, the dissertation gives some suggestions to the Chinese government and the enterprises that produces agricultural product, which is useful for the development of Sino-Japanese agricultural product trade.
