The economy of our country growing fast provides strong demand foundation of logistics industry. The implementation of the new postal law shows that the market standard will be raised. The state advocates the M&A as express profession respond to foreign competition is the important measure and entering the express profession threshold is expected to rise. As people raising the level of education and electronic commerce and the application of the Internet, which pull the Courier market fast growth. Existing competitor already to postal-delivery logistics business development pose a big threat and potential competitors also need attention. Policy will change market competition of the whole express delivery and competition increasing.This thesis analyzes Shandong Post Express Logistics Corporation with PEST and Michael Porter's Five Forces Model. Express market will experience rapid development in the future for a long period, the amount of business will grow continually, development prospect of this industry will be optimistic. Existing competitors have already posed a great threat to post enterprise; we also need to pay high attention to the potential competitors. Policy changes will bring major impacts on competition structure of the whole express market, and competition will become increasingly intensified. Through analysis of internal conditions, we conclude that business taking, transportation and delivery are not only the major value-increased parts in the business activities of post express logistics, but also are the key control parts which will gain competition strength. However, post express logistics business has a stronger competition strength in some sections such as sorting and encapsulation which are on the two sides of value chain, while it is relatively weak in another sections such as transportation and delivery.The competition of Shandong Post Express Logistics Corporation can choose differentiation strategy and focusing strategy. Concentrating marketing efforts, integrating different kinds of social resources, strengthening network construction, building a stronger post logistics brand with speed, expanding business of high-end market in accordance with various needs of clients, establishing innovation logistics service model, strengthening e-commerce business, consolidating leading position of express logistics in Shandong province, and then create a first brand in Shandong express logistics market.
