As a new industry,the express delivery industry originated in the 1960s.It is a kind of open and competitive business opened by the freight transport department.It mainly targets business documents,small parcels,etc..Its main characteristics are speed,safety,convenience,direct face to customers and so on.The delivery of these parcels began mainly through freight.With the continuous development of the transportation industry,the advantages of assisting express delivery services such as trains and aviation have become more and more obvious.Although Shanxi Postal express service maintains the leading position in Shanxi area,but with the change of market trend,the growth of the whole industry has been restricted and limited,which leads to the competition degree of Shanxi Postal Service business.In recent years,with the various types of capital participating in the entire express delivery market and the diversification of service modes,the continuous expansion of Shanxi express delivery market has provided a good opportunity for the development of the Postal express delivery business in Shanxi Province.From the perspective of the entire postal industry,Postal courier services occupy a very important position.If you want to maintain strong competition,you must have a timely understanding and mastery of the competitive environment and the competitive strategies of competitors.We will adjust our own business strategy on this basis,further consolidate and improve our competitive advantage,ensure that we can take a favorable position in the complex market competition environment,and maintain our own smooth operation and development.Based on the theory of Porter's Five Forces Model and the analysis method of VRIO,this paper analyzes the five external environment aspects of potential competitors' entry ability,substitutes' substitution ability and the competitiveness of intra-industry competitors and the internal conditions of Shanxi Post Express,and then summarizes Shanxi Post Express and Competition by SWOT analysis.Finally,according to the analysis results,it is concluded that ST strategy should be adopted.For this strategy,it mainly refers to the unity of advantages and threats.In the face of the complex market competition environment,Shanxi Post Express Company should further consolidate and consolidate the development trend of the market.We should improve our competitive advantage,promote the adjustment and optimization of our own business strategy,and promote the effective promotion of market share.
