Research On Urban Public Transport Services Evaluation System

Public transport is the indispensable bridge of the politic, economy and culture life to a city. With the development of society and economy of China, the urbanization level is gradually improving, but urban traffic problems also follows. At present, the problems of urban transport problems are more prominently reflected in the urban public transport, thereby more and more people require to improve urban public transport services. Public transport is the most direct way to show the development of a city. Therefore, it is an important issue to improve urban public transport service levels to improve travel conditions for urban residents.This paper focus on research of the urban public transportation service level evaluation system, from the perspective of economics and statistics, we establish a scientific and effective evaluation system to evaluate the level of urban public transport services. We have some effective field studies from the social both in terms of effectiveness and economic efficiency of urban residents travel status, and the use of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to establish urban public transport service level evaluation system, and we hope this paper could give some suggestions to the government departments.
