As China's urbanization processing, issues such as traffic congestion is worsening. Buses in the daily life of people is occupying an increasingly important position. The State Council on the transport development strategy also made a clear strategy for public transport priority, but the bus company is lack of foundational information, so management is relatively lagging, operating costs are high and there are security risks and other operational issues.Based on the reasons above, the bus operation production of management called ERP system was born, which consists mainly of basic business needs of the bus industry in the daily operations, including vehicle control, vehicle scheduling, statistical reports and other routine business.Project Management as an important part of modern enterprise management significantly impacts the national economy. The establishment of public transport information and travel is related to people's lives, and the bus schedule management ERP project is also related to the success of ERP project.This paper analyzes the necessity of progress management in ERP project application bus and the purpose of this research, and then introduces project management, project progress management, ERP project's basic theory and methods. Secondly, according to the project progress management theory and methods it presents Anshan bus ERP project schedule management, program development process and program content. Again, according to project progress management theory it deeply analyses the Anshan bus ERP project management status and the progress deviation and identifies the cause of the error. Finally, by using the project progress management theory it raises the specific proposals and measures of Anshan bus ERP project schedule control management.After this analysis and study it reaches the following conclusions:(1) This is the research of Anshan bus ERP project progress management and the analysis of problems in the ERP project in Anshan bus schedule management, and by combining of the project progress management methods and the theory of transport characteristics of ERP project , it provides a solution to the bus schedule management in ERP project. It is a good applications to the combination of theory and practice.(2) There are many uncertainties in bus ERP project implementation project, like scope, project objectives, system requirements and so on. So the traditional waterfall model can not meet the demand, on this situation spiral model must be used in the project implementation. Using the waterfall model at the beginning of the project to develop the project schedule and changing to the spiral model at the end of the project but no change in time schedule brings a big deviation to the project progress. For the great deal of difficulties to manage the project schedule control, brought out by the spiral model, monitoring must be refined project objectives, and a good tracking mechanism to monitor also should be established.(3) The implementation issues in Anshan bus ERP project proposed in this paper is common in the ERP project implementation. And the solutions to it will provide some reference to other bus ERP project progress management in the future.
