| Compensation management is an important part of human resources management. It is the motive force of the enterprises development. Scientific and rational compensation system is the foundation of the enterprise's compensation management. Scientific and rational compensation system plays the supporting function to the development of the enterprise. Establish a scientific and rational compensation system can effectively motivate employees, retain employees and stimulate the staff's working enthusiasm to create a higher performance for private enterprises. To build a scientific and rational compensation system has important significance. How to create a more scientific and rational compensation system of private enterprise is the key issue of this paper.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part of this paper is the research background, the purpose, significance and research methods; The second part is compensation system design, introduce the concept of salary management and related theory of compensation system design; The third part introduces the method of Hay Guide Chart-Profile theory(Hay's theory), theoretical source of Hay's theory, contents and the limitations of Hay's theory; The fourth part is to private enterprise's salary management, analyses the current situation of the private enterprise and introduces the NC company current status; The fifth part is optimization design of the compensation system, including compensation system design principle, salary survey, salary structure design and job evaluation; This sixth part is the summarize and expectation of the compensation system design content.The research methods of present thesis are literature analysis, questionnaire, qualitative, quantitative analysis, interviews and other methods to survey and study. Based on the experience of HR department, analyzes and discusses the compensation system of private enterprise combining with theoretical analyses. The research results enhance the scientific and reliability base on the scientific methods.This paper studied the compensation system of private enterprise, and optimization the compensation system based on Hay Guide Chart-Profile theory. In allusion to the problems existing in private enterprise at present, this paper makes compensation system optimization design in private enterprise combined with NC Company.
